Create An App For Your Business Today

Why Should You Create An App For Your Business

One of the keys to success in business is maximising your exposure. Both the internet and the invention of smartphones have made this more accessible than ever before.

You can now reach an almost unlimited audience at the touch of their fingertips by marketing your business. There are two ways in which they will be able to interact with your business and purchase services/products.

The first is through their internet browser, the second is through an app. So why should you create an app for your business?

The benefits to your business

First and foremost, when you create an app for your business, it can make everything a lot more efficient. Not only can you avoid slow loading webpages, but it also streamlines the user experience.

Once they have gone through the initial effort of downloading your app that is. Otherwise, they would have to go through the effort of going onto their web browser and typing in your website address. This might not sound like a whole load of effort, but as you can appreciate, in the modern-day, people want things to be done as fast as possible.

When you create an app you are also allowing yourself to offer additional services that may not have been possible through your website.

One example of this is where Toyota created an app that allowed them to make digital payments to the company rather than having to go through the hassle of writing a cheque.

Another improvement in the overall user experience. The app was welcomed so much that it amassed a staggering 350k downloads within its first few months of release.

Creating an app for your business can also allow you to gain a competitive advantage. App development isn’t always cheap and can sometimes be deemed not a worthwhile investment by some companies.

However, if done right and executed correctly, it can be one of the best investments you can make. Conducting market research in your industry may highlight that very few, if any, of your competitors, have apps for their business.

If this is the case you’re going to want to separate yourself from them by creating an app.

The benefits of creating an app in numbers

You also open yourself up to a much wider audience believe it or not. Studies carried out in the industry have found that 78% of smartphone users would opt for going to an online store through an app, rather than through the website.

Reports conducted also show that users spend 3 to 4 times longer on apps rather than on their website counterparts. This extra time spent on your website could be the difference between a conversion and a bounce.

These are just some of the reasons why you should consider creating an app for your business
